Ethical Consumption

Ethical consumerism is the practice of "dollar voting"- that is, buying ethically favorable products from companies that uphold moral production standards. Often these two go hand in hand; a corporation using moral business practices will create an environmentally-friendly, worker-friendly product.

Ethical consumption is generally concerned with the following categories:

• Environmental impact
• Workers rights/human rights
• Animal welfare

With this web site, I've set out to create a guide to ethical shopping: companies to choose/avoid, products and their impact, and simple steps that can be taken to improve the impact that our lives have on the environment, livestock, and workers.
